My Approach
Photography isn’t just about taking pictures—it’s about capturing a presence, a feeling, a moment that speaks louder than words. At Verity Visions, I craft imagery that goes beyond the surface, creating visuals that don’t just document but command attention and tell a story. Whether I’m shooting for brands, models, families, or creatives, my approach is intentional, immersive, and designed to elevate.
I believe every frame should reflect authenticity—the confidence of a model, the essence of a brand, the raw emotion of a milestone. When you step in front of my lens, you’re not just posing; you’re stepping into a vision that is uniquely yours. My goal is simple: to create imagery that stands the test of time and sets you apart.
This is more than photography. This is Verity Visions.

My creative background:

From a young age, I understood the power of visual storytelling. At seven years old, I dreamed of becoming a model — a pursuit that, thirty years ago, was far more a fantasy than a viable career path. The industry’s beauty standards were rigid, requiring a very specific mold: a minimum height of 5’9”, a size 0 to 2 frame, and flawless features. Anything outside that narrow window, including something as human as crooked teeth, was simply not considered.
For over two decades, I received constant feedback — too thin, not thin enough, too blonde, not blonde enough — and comments about my teeth were not posed as suggestions but as barriers.
At 14, I walked my first runway through one of the popular modeling academies of the time. Despite this milestone, for the next five years, I was met with consistent rejection. Agencies across multiple cities told me the same thing: “You’ll need braces.” Unfortunately, that solution wasn’t available to my family at the time.

By 18, determined to create regardless of circumstance, I began building my portfolio by collaborating with any photographers willing to shoot. This was during the early days of Model Mayhem, long before it became widely recognized. What began as a workaround soon sparked an undeniable passion — not just for modeling, but for the creative process itself.

By 24, I had transitioned into a leadership role within the industry, becoming the Model Manager for one of the top bikini companies in the United States. I spent those years traveling the world, gaining firsthand experience in managing teams, overseeing productions, and learning how to run a digital media empire from the inside out. This chapter sharpened my understanding of branding, creative direction, and the precision required to build and sustain a global presence.
As the industry evolved, I witnessed a significant shift. An influx of amateur photographers, many driven by ulterior motives rather than artistry, diluted the professional standards that once defined the field. The collaborative spirit gave way to competition, and the environment no longer reflected the growth-driven space I had once loved.
In 2012, during a commercial shoot, I instinctively picked up a camera. Between takes, I found joy capturing candid moments of fellow models. Although I didn’t fully realize it at the time, this experience planted a seed that would later blossom into a renewed creative journey.
When social media shifted from a casual platform to a commercial marketplace, I found myself at a crossroads. Creation tied solely to income slowly chipped away at my clarity and passion. I spent years experimenting with different avenues of creativity, only to realize that when value and impact are not the focus, drive inevitably fades.
The past four years have been a profound period of rediscovery — refining not just what I create, but why I create.
Along the way, I became a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher, an endeavor that illuminated a new layer of self-awareness. It was during this time that I fully understood the depth of my social anxiety — a realization that revealed itself during my first scheduled class, when excitement quickly gave way to a panic attack.
Still, every step forward became part of the foundation I stand on today.
In August 2024, I made a pivotal investment: my first professional camera. It was like breathing new air. Holding the camera restored a passion I thought I had lost — a passion that no longer faltered under pressure. My neurodivergence, which had once felt like a barrier, became an advantage behind the lens. The anxiety that can otherwise be loud in daily life quiets into a whisper when I’m creating.
After 23 years of experience in front of the camera, collaborating with some of the industry’s most respected names, stepping behind the lens felt not only natural but inevitable.
Today, my work is defined by the intention to create meaningful, lasting impact for my clients. My neurodivergence offers a distinct advantage, allowing me to see the world through a lens that few have access to. I notice details, emotions, and opportunities that others might miss.
In the world of creativity, it is often the neurodivergent mind that leads the way — we don’t just think outside the box; we design entirely new ones.
My mission is simple: to create with precision, integrity, and transformative impact — and to leave every client not only seen, but truly celebrated.
