Okay—sorry for yelling, I’ll calm down… 😅

See, I quite literally choked through book 4. If you read that review, you know it really had nothing to do with the book itself but rather the things it brought up for me while reading. Talk about unwanted therapy. 🫠

Anyway, book five is when everything finally starts coming together. This is where all the kingdoms we’ve been introduced to start to coexist, and let me tell you… it is SO satisfying. 🤌✨

I’m here to tell you that book 4 was the necessary evil for the EPIC events that unfold in book 5 of The Broken Kingdoms series.

I just want to say—LJ Andrews does a freaking MAGICAL job 🪄 of truly pulling you into the emotions of each character. The feminine RAGE I felt in book 4 was PALPABLE 😤, and it almost had me walking away. I am SO glad I didn’t. 🙌

In this book, we finally start to see the full picture. It’s like… until now, we’ve only seen the tip of the absolute chaos and fuckery that has been brewing in the kingdoms. And when it all comes to light? It blows you right away. 💥

I did not see most of what was coming, and for someone who’s autistic with superior pattern recognition skills… that just makes me GUSH for this series even more. 🤯

Did I mention I haven’t thought about Xaden or the squad since book 3? Yeah. By book 4, I was so damn annoyed and desperate for something new, I couldn’t have been bothered with any other books. So, again—if you’re nursing that Onyx Storm hangover… CHECK OUT The Broken Kingdoms. 👑🔥

Okay—STEAM. There was A LOT more in this book, and rightfully so. I’d put it at a solid high 7, maybe an 8, depending on how you view sex in books. 😏
